The Alliance is founded on the principle that those involved in family businesses are an indispensable source of experience and wisdom for one another. The members of the Alliance are both its greatest resource and greatest beneficiaries. Family-owned businesses based in the Greater Washington D.C. area eligible for membership in the Alliance. Family members and senior non-family executives of member firms may participate in Alliance activities.
Members are asked to pay a modest fee to help support the activities of the Alliance. Those becoming members during 2011 are entitled to special reduced fees during their inaugural year of $500 (entitling the member firm to designate two active participants) and $1500 (entitled to 6 designated participants).
