Some of David Gage’s clients have included:
- A third- and fourth-generation family business that successfully resolved a long-standing interfamily dispute by restructuring the Board of Directors and eventually having one third-generation family buy out the other, and then progress to establishing a family council and developing a new buy-sell agreement and succession plan.
- A regional insurance company in California transition from the founder generation to the next by helping the son and three key, non-family executives develop a Partnership Charter – a thorough plan for how they would jointly own and operate the company for years to come.
- A group of five siblings in a third generation contractor business work out their differences over roles, titles, styles, compensation, and ownership percentages.
- A founding mother with two daughters work out the amicable departure of one of the daughters from the company.
- A family trust with a disagreement over the proper use of funds within the trust.
