John Hrastar is the President of InterSource, a CEO-centric management consulting firm.  InterSource has served nearly 300 clients since 1990, and was recently voted the best management consulting firm in the DC-area for mid-size companies.  They provide advice, support and resources to the CEOs of emerging growth and mid-market closely held companies.  Service offerings include:

John combines a background in technical engineering with a wide range of business, operations, financial, and management skills.  Highly regarded for his ability to distill key components of a situation, then integrate the best combination of resources to achieve the client's objectives, he has a substantial track record of enhancing the productivity of emerging growth and mid-market closely held companies.  This systematic process of incisive diagnosis, locating critical resources, and implementing creative solutions has produced dramatic increases in profitability and enterprise value for his clients.

John is an experienced senior manager and proven leader in a wide variety of businesses, particularly high growth situations.  Prior to founding InterSource, he was an active business manager, operating companies alone or as part of a senior management team.  He founded a unique specialized financial software company that sold over 600 copies of its new program within first seven days of product release.  John was a key member of investors and managers who grew a trading company from zero to $25,000,000 in annual revenue in three years. 

Mr. Hrastar is an experienced public speaker with several television and radio appearances, lectures, and seminars.  He is also a published writer with several articles, reports, and a newsletter to his credit.
