Greater Washington DC Family Business Alliance Welcomes Two New Members

BETHESDA, Maryland (October 9, 2009) - The Greater Washington DC Family Business Alliance ("The Alliance"), the go to resource for family businesses located in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia, announced today that two new members have joined the alliance.  John C. Morris is an Associate at FranklinMorris, a financial services firm headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.  FranklinMorris provides insurance, employee benefit services, investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning services to successful individuals, professionals, executives and business entities.    Eileen O'Connor is Vice President of Wealth Management at McLean Asset Management Corporation ("MAMC"), a Registered Investment Advisory firm based in McLean, Virginia.  MAMC provides high net worth individuals and institutions with wealth management, investment management, advanced planning and relationship management services. 

 

Morris is both a Certified Financial Planner ("CFP") and Certified in Long-Term Care ("CLTC"), is FINRA Series 7 and 66 registered, and focuses his work on insurance and financial planning, as well as designing group insurance and employee benefit programs.  O'Connor is also a CFP, with a Master of Business Administration ("MBA") from Harvard University, working primarily with family business owners to set and reach investment goals.  Said Debra Andrews of Bond Beebe, the founder of The Alliance and a certified public accounting firm with an over 75 year history in the Washington, DC area, "Adding two such strong players in the insurance and financial investment fields as John and Eileen, with such a strong focus on family businesses, will surely add to the value of our alliance and provide even more guidance to our family business members."
