Open Forum Programs
We typically hold three (3) panel discussions and/or keynote presentations throughout the year, selecting the some of the finest experts from key disciplines to serve on the panels. Open to the public, the Greater Washington DC Family Business Alliance will first send notice of upcoming programs to other Alliance members. A modest fee brings presentations of the topics of greatest importance to family businesses, including networking opportunities with other family businesses and field experts including legal, accounting, insurance and wealth advisory.
Family Business Roundtables
These roundtables consist of family business owners from Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia hand-selected by the Family Business Alliance to come together in a comfortable forum to be able to discuss the issues facing family businesses. Family business peers have likely already faced many of the issues on your firm’s list of concerns, and with participation in the Roundtables you may not have to “reinvent the wheel” to solve these issues.
Family Circles are smaller, dedicated groups of family business peers and experts that focus on a distinct business profile. These targeted Inner Circles address companies with similar challenges and opportunities, and help engender sharing and bonding among its members. The Family Business Roundtables and Family Circles are the perfect opportunities to congregate in a safe environment and discuss family business issues with peers and advisors.
